GulfWise ("we", "our", "us") is a free GCC labour rights and salary calculator platform available at gulfwise.vercel.app. We provide tools to help expatriate workers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region calculate their end-of-service benefits, notice periods, and other labour entitlements.

2. Information we collect

GulfWise does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use our calculators. All calculations are performed locally in your browser.

We may collect the following information:

• Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, clicks, and scroll depth — collected anonymously via Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics for the purpose of improving our tools.
• Email address: If you voluntarily submit your email via our "Request review" form, we collect it solely to connect you with a labour specialist. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.
• Cookies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics purposes. See Section 5 for details.

3. How we use your information

• To improve the functionality and content of GulfWise
• To understand how users interact with our calculators

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services which may collect data:

• Microsoft Clarity: Session recording and heatmap analytics. Data is anonymised. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
• Google Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Wise (affiliate): We include affiliate links to Wise money transfer services. If you click these links and open an account, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you. Wise's privacy policy applies to any data you provide to them directly.
• CJ Affiliate: We participate in the CJ affiliate network. Affiliate tracking cookies may be set when you click partner links.

GulfWise uses cookies to support analytics and affiliate tracking. By using our site, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this policy. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality.

We retain email addresses submitted via our review request form for a maximum of 12 months. Anonymous analytics data is retained per the terms of the respective third-party platforms (Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics).
